Knowing what I know now, here's a letter to 22 year old me..

@madebykush @hustonmalande @SkylineDesignKE 01. You will fail time and again but that's not the end. Take a moment to breathe, identify what went wrong and most importantly, learn from it and don't repeat the mistake.

It's a marathon, not a sprint.

@madebykush @hustonmalande @SkylineDesignKE 02. There will always be naysayers. Take what they say and distil it into what's true and what's not. Take the truth and ignore the rest.

Trust your instincts.

@madebykush @hustonmalande @SkylineDesignKE 03. Stop holding yourself back. Keep chasing those big dreams we have. You can do anything you put your mind to.

You're tougher than you ever imagined.

@madebykush @hustonmalande @SkylineDesignKE 04. Talent/smarts are good but hard work trumps that every time. Adopt a growth mindset and never stop learning. You can do anything you put your mind to.

Get serious about learning.

@madebykush @hustonmalande @SkylineDesignKE 05. Get a hobby. Find that thing that nourishes, inspires and fulfils you. Always make time for it.

Do it.

@madebykush @hustonmalande @SkylineDesignKE 06. Don't ever waste time worrying. Live in the moment. Your 20s will be tough, unlike anything you planned, but we are all the better for it.

Buckle up and enjoy the ride.

@madebykush @hustonmalande @SkylineDesignKE 07. Surround yourself with good, honest, smart people. Be humble, respectful and kind to everyone. Help whenever and wherever you can. Give without expecting anything in return.

Create value for others but never compromise your values.

@madebykush @hustonmalande @SkylineDesignKE 08. Last but not least, you have wonderful family and friends. Love and take care of them. Make time for them, always.
