❌ Conservatives voted against the EI parental sharing benefit?
❌Conservatives voted against extended EI maternity and parental benefits?

❌Conservatives voted against increasing the GIS and CPP, and against restoring OAS/GIS to age 65?
❌Conservatives voted against the National Housing Strategy and investments in affordable housing?
Or maybe when:

Congratulations to Michelle Ferreri, our new MP. I wish her and her team well.
2/9 I also want to congratulate all of my fellow candidates for stepping up. Politics can be difficult, and your willingness to serve should be recognized and celebrated. As should the fact that four women represented the four main parties in Peterborough-Kawartha this election.

1/8 Tonight in Quebec, Erin O’Toole pretended to be pro-choice. He did the same thing in his platform. But in reality, he’ll let his team bring forward legislation to restrict abortion access. That’s the same position as Andrew Scheer.
2/8 To win the Conservative leadership race, Erin O’Toole courted social conservatives, some who’ve made it their life’s work to roll back women’s hard-won rights, including the right to choose.

Anti-choice group @CampaignLife Coalition is actively working to take away women’s rights here in 🇨🇦, and they are doing so with help from @AndrewScheer’s Conservative MPs who attended their rally on Parliament Hill last week. Let’s see how the CLC rates them:
CLC rating for Harold Albrecht: Anti-choice, anti-women.

Would try to exclude abortion from the insured health services under the Canada Health Act:
CLC rating for Ted Falk: Anti-choice, anti-women.

Opposes abortion under any circumstances, including rape and incest.

It’s something that we’ll always defend.

What’s becoming alarmingly clear is this – Conservatives can’t say the same. #StandForChoice
➡️Yesterday in Ottawa, Toronto, and all over social media, we saw a side of Conservatives that they often try to hide. MPP Sam Oosterhoff pledged to “make abortion unthinkable.”

Premier Ford failed to distance himself from the remarks. #StandForChoice
➡️Rachael Harder, the Conservatives’ Status of Women critic was one of a dozen members of the Conservative caucus who attended the protest on Parliament Hill against a woman’s right to choose.

She has proudly defended her position against reproductive rights. #StandForChoice

As Canada’s first Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Minister of International Development, I am proud of our gov’ts record on measures that advance gender equality at home and abroad. 🇨🇦🌎

So here’s a quick reminder of what we’ve done:
✔ After 150 years, 🇨🇦 now has a strategy to prevent and end gender-based violence. This means more support for survivors, creating a more responsive justice system, and improving efforts to prevent GBV in the first place. #FeministFriday
✔ We’re strengthening domestic violence laws – repeat offenders will face a higher maximum sentences and stricter bail conditions and we’ve widened the definition of intimate partner violence to ensure more people are protected. 👨‍⚖️👩‍⚖️ #FeministFriday
