This is very interesting: Apparently an Indian MI officer arrested for trying to expose his superiors' extra-judicial killings has himself been framed, accused of various charges and, get this, has requested Col "Hunny" Bakshi to be his defence counsel. economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/defence/l…
Col Bakshi was a key figure in the setup/operations of Technical Support Division (TSD), a clandestine cross-border intelligence operations unit under Indian MI launched when Gen V.K. Singh was COAS.
TSD was responsible for several state-sponsored terrorist attacks in Pakistan including bombing of an ISI setup in Faisalabad. theweek.in/theweek/specia…
Lt Col Singh's request suggests that the TSD is still active. Has it been re-oriented from Pakistan to within North-East India? What else could possibly explain a serving MI Lt Col requesting counsel by a "disbanded" covert unit's CO?
Bear in mind that Lt Col Dharamvir Singh is being implicated on apparently trumped-up charges for calling out his superiors' illegal conduct. The recent establishment of a Human Rights and Vigilance Cell (under IPS officer) at Army HQ should probe this as its first test case.
This Sikh-origin officer is being viciously intimadated whereas, in contrast, Hindu Brahmin Lt Col Prasad Srikant Purohit (another MI colleague) who was part of the Sangh Parivar was set free will full honours by Doval himself.

Two IAF🇮🇳 C-17A Globemaster III transport planes reached Japan🇯🇵 on 25 Jan 2023 to take back supplies and support crew at the conclusion of Ex VEER GUARDIAN 2023
Both took off from Hindon AFS🇮🇳 and landed in Hyakuri Air Base🇯🇵 🧵
1. SideWinder APT Group🇮🇳 posted screenshot of what appears to be NTDC's Grid Station Info System🇵🇰.
2. They claim modifying original data to initiate a 'frequency change', misleading human operators to feed wrong pulse hence nationwide power outage.
3. These claims and the screenshot were shared in one of the group's known Telegram channels.
4. The screenshot appears to be legitimate, however I am personally unable to verify the authenticity of claims.
5. If these claims are confirmed, it is the first known instance of cyber sabotage against critical infrastructure in South Asia, leading to real-world (physical) effects.
🧵 The lack of concensus among parliamentary parties in Pakistan to sit together and engage in informed debates on natsec issues is itself a major threat to internal security. This is clearly dereliction of duties.
If politicians being policymakers cannot review and define lines of action, they cannot hold others responsible for trying to fill the gap. The one and only obsession is to save party face, viciously defend own alliances and prepare for pre-electoral campaigning.
The much-touted 'democratic process' is a farce in Pakistan. As of today, no forum has been convened to evaluate efforts against terrorism and insurgency over the past decade. How can you identify loop-holes without putting heads together?
Thank you for taking notice of malicious and illegal loan sharks marketing themselves deceptively to target unsuspecting victims into never-ending debt traps.
