Rosie wakes up to find herself in a cave. In front of her, there are two caverns. The one on the left is submerged in pitch black darkness but the other is awash in sunlight.

An ominous voice whispers.

"Chooooosee..."

Which cavern must she go into?

Rosie goes into the darkness. She feels fear grab onto her back and keep hold, feels anxiety and doubt grab one arm each and weigh her down.

She struggles to walk. Everything is heavy and difficult.

She grits her teeth.

What does she do?

Rosie trudges on. The weight in her arms get heavier. Her arms feel like they'll be dislocated from their sockets.

The fear on her back laughs, morphing into a creature. It sinks claws into her and she screams in pain.

She feels like she's being ripped apart.

What does she do?

The pain threatens to unravel her. Darkness picked at her seams but now it's easily pulling her undone. She's as helpless as old cloth against it.

Rosie struggles to hold herself together, tries to think about anything that would keep darkness from overpowering her.

What is it?

In the middle of all of it, Rosie's brain dissociates. She hides within herself, touches the important parts of her. In her mind she sees the corner of her room where her art materials lay.

She hugs the memory to her chest.

The pain doesn't stop.

What else does she think of?

Music soothes. But memories come to haunt.

Rosie feels exhaustion seep into her soul, feels her willpower dim.

She is exhausted and in pain and afraid. She wants this to end, wants rest.

She thinks of Charon's words, of the steps she must take.

Newborn vampires are as mindless and as strong as the unferried.

What should Lisa do?

1. Pull her hand away and just break her wrist.

2. Try to knock the newborn vampire unconscious.... somehow.

3. Call a friend for help and hope she isn't drained before they find her.

With her scion finally out cold - more pliant and manageable, Lisa relaxes.

She looks at her watch and sees that she's late for work. Shit.

1. Leave Rosie tied up in her apartment

2. Call Jisoo, ask for her help.

3. Go straight to Irene tell her everything.

Lisa decides to text Jisoo instead of calling her. She realizes she doesn't want Jisoo screaming into her ear about how she's late for work.

How should Lisa carry Rosie to her apartment?

Lisa carries her scion bridal-style. That seems to be the wrong decision since she drops her midway because of her bad wrist.

She puts the newborn vamp on her back instead.

She gets to her apartment in a few minutes, running in the shadows.

What does she do next?

Lisa treats her wrist and leaves the newborn vampire unattended. Bad idea.

Lisa gives her scion the packet of blood, shoving it in her mouth.

The newborn vampire immediately changes demeanor - turning child-like - sucking on the packet like it's a juice box. Her red eyes are wide and happy.

It was a little unnerving.

Rosie drinks all of Lisa's food. Jisoo arrives.

Jisoo's expression is dark. The grin is wiped off of Lisa's face.

"I can explain!" She says quickly.

"Then explain." Jisoo growls, fangs growing and eyes glinting purple. "You realize the whole clan is in danger, right?"

Lisa gulps. She's in deep shit.

What does she say?

"I had to turn her!" Lisa defends herself.

"What possible reasons could there be for you to HAVE to turn a human?" Jisoo snarls. "Lisa, this is a new level of fucking up, even for you."

Lisa is hurt by the statement but brushes it off. She understands what her friend means.

Jisoo hears the whole story. She and Lisa worry and fear for Lisa's future.

"She isn't leaving this apartment untied, Lisa." Jisoo says firmly, putting her foot down.

Lisa sighs.

"Okay. But what do we tie her with? I have rope somewhere here. Chains, too. And those annoying zip ties."

The new Rosie.

Rosie has a lot of questions. What should she ask first?

Lisa gives the short answer.

How should Rosie introduce herself? What name should Lisa call her now that she's a vampire?

"What's your name?" Lisa asks, as she's been wanting to the whole night. She wasn't able to because her scion was out of it.

"Rosé." The blonde answers

Lisa nods. She likes that name. It sounds sexy and mysterious.

What does Rosé ask next?

"What is a Sire?" Rosé asks.

"It's the vampire who turned you. I turned you." Lisa explains.

Rosé's expression gets clouded, she looks lost in thought.

"I was begging for my life wasn't I?" She asks after a while. "I thought it was a dream but now I know it's real."

Lisa nods

"What attacked me?" Rosé keeps her questions coming.

"An soulless. But I call them the unferried. I like to think their souls are just stuck at the Styx. They're creatures less than vampires but are somehow stronger and meaner."

Rosé stops and thinks for a bit.

"Did you meet Charon too?"

Lisa tilts her head.

"I don't remember my dying process. It feels so long ago. I just remember leaving something behind then waking up thirsty for blood. But they say all souls pass through the Styx. I probably met him once, too."

What does Rosé say?

"What did you leave behind, then?" Rosé asks.

Lisa looks at her, a cold mask over her face. Instead of answering, she turns the question around and asks it back, voice flat.

"Well, what did you leave behind?"

Rosé notices the change in demeanor and the deflection. She decides to go for the truth even if her sire won't give it to her.

"My innocence." She admits.

Lisa looks at her. Then the older vampire breaks out in loud cackles.

"Oh my Lilith, were you a virgin when you died?"

Rosé blushes. She might've left innocence but she still has the ability to be embarrassed and shy.

"And what about it?!" She huffs.

Lisa wipes tears at the corner of her eyes, gasps for air from laughing too hard.

"You literally lost your virginity to momma vamp. That's sick."

"Well, she was hot, though." Rosé disappears in her memories for a bit, a little smile on her face. "Having that fucked up experience was worth it."

Now it's Lisa's turn to stop in her tracks.

"You really - did you?" She stutters.

Rosé smirks.

"Yep."

What else does she say?

"But Lilith said something weird to me before that." Rosé adds. "She told me I was different. That I was special."

Lisa raises an eyebrow.

"Don't mothers say that to all their children?"

"No." Rosé purses her lips. "I think she meant something else by it."

What does Lisa do?

"Why do you think she means something else by that?" Lisa asks.

"Nothing, it's just," Rosé tries to make sense of her gut feeling. "It sounded really ominous. Like a prophecy or something."

Lisa thinks of what that could mean. She's inclined to trust her scion's gut.

Rosé needs to know more about the vampire world. What does Lisa tell her about?

Lisa stares at her, not answering.

Rosé balls her hands into fists. Her expression changes.

"You created me." She growls, fangs bared. Her fists shake. "You don't get to keep quiet. You have to tell me everything so I know how much danger I'm in."

What does Lisa say?

"Well if you want the truth then they might kill us both. They probably will. If not Irene then the tribune." Lisa waits for her scion's reaction.

Rosé swallows thickly, calming down.

What does Rosé say?

"Is there anything we can do?" Rosé asks.

Lisa looks at her, thinks of how to answer.

What does she say?

1. There isn't. We just wait for Irene's or the tribune's verdict.

2. There are options. Long shots. I plan to talk to Irene again when she cools down.

"There are options." Lisa says. "They're long shots, but they're worth trying. I plan to talk to Irene again soon when she cools down."

"Okay." Rosé says.

And right on time Lisa's phone beeps non-stop from text messages.

It was Wendy. She opens them.

The meal and conversation were so nice that Jisoo misses Jennie. Lisa was wrong in thinking they made up.

So Jisoo sends her girl a few texts.

Meanwhile, Lisa decides to text Wendy finally, after Jisoo left.
