Civility also must be perceived as a two way street. You don’t clamp down on peaceful protesters on their fatherland and deem freedom of expression and association treasonable felony unduly and expect agitations to sublime. Water will find its level somehow. Govt must do better!
The word “Leaders” was deployed intentionally depicting genuine responsibility and service to the people. Do we have leaders in Nigeria?! Is the interest of the people and Nation prioritized by those at the helm? Does National Security have a meaning in our clime?! #RiseAsOne
Nothing actually can stop a Change whose time has come. No militarization can stop the revolution when the time is right. The only thing that can stop it is for today’s rulers to rethink their current position against Nigeria & Nigerians. We’re close to the tipping point already.

The will of the people MUST be done as guaranteed by the constitution (however imperfect). Never shall the people continue to normalize oppression, while waiting to be struck down by the bullets of rogue Police officers, Soldiers, kidnappers, religious extremists or terrorists.
No Nation is run like Nigeria is currently being run and this is me being generous with words. To say Nigeria is a failed state is to state the obvious as the blind can see & as audible to the deaf. Even the mute protest neglect today. It’s time to recalculate our coordinates.
True leadership is Godliness as against religiosity or demonstration of false piety. It’s about discipline, accountability, transparency, perspicacity & intellectual fecundity. The entire country is a huge crime scene today despite the illustrious promise of an utopian dream.
Leaders are dealers in Hope. When the ray of hope is eclipsed by tyrannical blockage, it confines the people to their primitive state and all social traits is lost in the murderous battle for survival. No member of the ruling class will be safe once this stage is attained.
There is still time now to release all political prisoners and revisit all the progressive bills that have been deliberately subjugated to favor the political agenda of a handful against millions of Nigerians. God doesn’t want sinners to perish but come to repentance.
The people can not be demanding accountability, transparency, justice, equity and fairness for you to keep responding with belligerence, labeling, unnecessary violence, unfounded allegations etc. We the people are not asking for too much. Show responsibility!
Nigeria will not and cannot take another bout of failure. The time to make the needed changes to the current trajectory is now. All sectors of our economy are bleeding. Our institutions have been reduced to nothing but balkanized hubs of nepotistic agenda as transmogrified.
Our security operatives are suffering in silence within their regimented institutions. They are members of the society as well. They have families going through hardship as well and a time will come when all we will see will be Nigerians void of the titles & designations.
Where then will those at the helm seek refuse when besieged on every side by people seeking their individual pound of flesh? We hope it won’t come to this before the needful is done. When the righteous leads the people rejoices but when the wicked rules the wails are deafening.
