Comcast is the largest media conglomerate in the world.

They have their hands in everything from politicians to polls -- and their influence on the 2020 Election is already being felt.

Comcast, and NBC in particular have their favorites: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

Hours after he announced, Comcast executive David Cohen hosted a fundraiser for Biden at his home.

Cohen is just one of many Comcast and NBC executives to donate to Biden.

A slew of Executive VP's and Senior Staff have also chipped in, mostly with max donations.

One of the notable donations came from Tom McCarthy, NBC Universal's CSO.

As he should -- he was the Chief of the Vice President's Secret Service detail.

The day after Comcast held their fundraiser for Biden, NBC's Senior Comms Director TJ Ducklo left the company to join the campaign as his National Press Secretary.

NBC really likes Kamala Harris too. As with Biden, a slew of Executives threw in on her campaign -- including NBC Universal Vice Chair Ronald Meyer.

Knowing all of this, here's an interesting look at the Biden-Harris moment that was published a few months ago.

Note they both got the most time, Kamala's bump afterwards, and the media jumping to Biden's defense.

The ethics are questionable at best.

NBC's reach doesn't end there, as they also employ Hart Research Associates to conduct all of their polls.

Geoff Garin, Hart's president, is a former strategist for Hillary Clinton and has worked for or with Priorities USA, CAP, and Tom Steyer's Next Gen PAC.
During the 2016 Primaries, Garin was not only donating to Clinton, but according to a Wikileaks email, was advising her on a "book deal".

To add to the questionable ethics, NBC also hired Big-Data firm TargetSmart, who also happened to manage the DNC voter database.

They asserted there was nothing to worry about.

Comcast has made it virtually impossible, even in the best scenario, to distinguish the media from the government.

Corporate media is just that -- they use their money to invest in the politicians that benefit THEM.

And they convince you it was your idea.
Here's a bonus:

As of July, David Brock's Shareblue Media has a new CEO -- Former head of NBC News' Business, Tech, and Media Allison Girvin

Out of sight, out of mind.

I broke Soros' donation to Sunrise Movement’s PAC over a year ago—and even though the @FreeBeacon is acting like they just found it, their article is massively incomplete.

It doesn't even mention that Soros @OpenSociety gave $500K to @sunrisemvmt in 2019, and $1M in 2020.
Though this article was written a week or so before I broke news of Soros' $1M 2020 donation, if you want the most in-depth look at Sunrise Movement's billionaire donors, you can read my report here:

Last August, Colonial Pipeline spilled into the Oehler Nature Preserve outside or Huntersville, NC.

Colonial revised their volume estimates 3 times (growing exponentially every time) until deciding their last estimate of 1.2M gals was too low.
medium.com/@RobletoFire/t…
After being pressed for an updated volume estimate by state and local officials, Colonial Pipeline said they couldn't give one.

And even if they did, the estimate would be "open to interpretation". Meaning, they have no idea how much spilled.
medium.com/@RobletoFire/c…
While researching this historic spill, I discovered that Colonial Pipeline had at most inspected only 45% of their 5,500mi line in 2019—and had been cited by federal regulators for numerous procedural violations.

That trend would continue in 2020.

Key points not in the story that are worth mentioning:

1. Donor data for DMFI PAC beyond 01/25/21 (GA Special Election) isnt yet public.

2. As of 01/25, DMFI had $101K cash on hand—yet they've spent $660K against Turner, so there is new money (which Schusterman could still be).
There's a reason why I haven't reported this yet, even though these numbers have been available since February.

Nearly all the money Schusterman gave DMFI was spent BEFORE their recent blitz against Turner—so we can't say for sure she's the donor behind it, though she may be.
Assuming DMFI is a semi-annual filer with the FEC, we'll know for sure who funded their recent blitz on Nina Turner on 07/30.

Lately I've been trying to just ignore all of the so called "in-fighting", keep my head in the research, and focus on what's important: the work.

But my patience has worn out.

If you come at me or my colleagues with bad faith attacks or outright lies, I will expose you.
It's so easy to sit around and creep @nikoCSFB or @Fiorella_im's timeline and disparage their work.

It's much more difficult to do some work of your own.

"Those who can't talk about those who can".
Challenge my reporting if you want but I don't report without receipts. I pride myself on it.

I don't need an entire team of researchers to write a "breaking" story about something that's been known for years, and I don't take credit for scoops that I didn't report first.

The mainstream media is going to keep Trump in the spotlight as long as they can—because he made them stars pulling record ratings.

You wont see the same veracity of reporting on Biden, because criticism of Democratic politicians in those circles will get you blacklisted.
Eventually, they'll have no choice but to put Biden in the spotlight. When that happens, much like with Obama, it will be milquetoast puff pieces full of softball questions.

Then their ratings will bottom out. Why? Because it's boring.

Then they'll invent their next boogeyman.
Don't forget the media's hubris helped push Trump to the forefront of politics, though their coverage was overwhelmingly negative—"Any press is good press".

Plus, he was good for business!

They'll repeat the cycle when they soon become attention starved from his absence.
