Trump administration leaves menstruating migrant girls ‘bleeding through underwear at detention centres’ independent.co.uk/news/world/ame…
One pad OR tampon per day.
ONE
A tampon should be changed every 4hrs, and every time you pee and/or poop.
You need access to water and soap to wash hands prior to insertion so you don't introduce bacteria inside the vagina, as well as water and soap for hand washing afterwards.
I'm disgusted by this administration. Prisons are horrible places and they're doing worse to these people, these HUMAN BEINGS! Locking them in cages and treating them as subhuman for wanting a better life for their families.
@FLOTUS and @IvankaTrump don't care about women's issues and we citizens can't get supplies to immigrants being held in cages by @realDonaldTrump.
But don't feel helpless! You can donate hygiene supplies when you donate food, baby formula, diapers etc to your local food pantry.
Whenever you buy supplies like razors, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, tampons, sanitary pads, anti-perspirant, toothpaste/brushes, etc buy an extra to donate.
Many working families rely on local food pantries to help with toiletries because these things cannot be purchased on SNAP.

This @VaselineBrand ad keeps showing up, so here's a PSA:
DON'T USE VASELINE WITH CONDOMS!
I haven't purchased it since I was a stupid teen who didn't know it's not ok to use w/ condoms.
Vaseline is oil-based. Oil eats away at rubber. Oil-based lubes can cause condoms to break
Oils don't dissolve with water, so they stick around longer if you put them in orifices like the anus or vagina. This can trap bacteria, increasing the risk of infection. When loving involves latex, stick with water-based lubricants made especially for enhancing sexual pleasure.
Lube can definitely be a bonus when it comes to sex. For some people it delays orgasm, making sex last longer. It can also reduce tissue irritation, which decreases the risk of spreading sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Putting a few drops of lube on the inside of a condom
