A tampon should be changed every 4hrs, and every time you pee and/or poop.

You need access to water and soap to wash hands prior to insertion so you don't introduce bacteria inside the vagina, as well as water and soap for hand washing afterwards.

DON'T USE VASELINE WITH CONDOMS!

I haven't purchased it since I was a stupid teen who didn't know it's not ok to use w/ condoms.
Vaseline is oil-based. Oil eats away at rubber. Oil-based lubes can cause condoms to break Oils don't dissolve with water, so they stick around longer if you put them in orifices like the anus or vagina. This can trap bacteria, increasing the risk of infection. When loving involves latex, stick with water-based lubricants made especially for enhancing sexual pleasure.
