41 days since the annexation of #Kashmir by India: communications shutdown, unlawful detentions, restrictions on movement, closure of schools, arrests of political leaders, restrictions on the right to practice religion in community.
110+ days since MNAs #MohsinDawar & #AliWazir were arrested & detained, with no information available on the status of their case or explanation of how this is lawful under the Constitution, esp considering implications for the right to political participation & representation.
It is not a triviliation of grave violations to highlight all violations of human rights: this goes right to the foundation of the concept of HR as universal, interrelated, interdependent & inalienable. Violations in any one part of the world affect the HR framework as a whole.
