Bismillahi. Yesterday there was a huge roar among a few atheists concerning about the concept of 'slavery' in Islam. Instead of writing a lot of details and trying to hide anything, I will be blatent and will write insha Allah how it is in Islam. The very important distinction

That is needed first is the meaning of enslavement in Islam. Here is what we need to keep in mind. Slavery means in Islam, owning a person's freedom, keeping him/her under the ownership and protection of someone, until freed. Yes. They belong to a person in that case. Now look :

Trying get involved at more academic level on some important aspects we should keep in mind when dealing with aspects relating to right and wrong, declaring things as true or false, moral and immoral. Whether you are a believer or not, there are common principles we could stick -

To when dealing with issues, declaring and claiming things to be true or false. I find it little annoying when both our colleagues and the atheists try to debate over issues, without declaring basic rules of debate or stick to basic principles.
