I did some digging and found that the new Frozen short requires this several thousand dollar VR chair, which will only be on display at the Frozen 2 premier.
So it's an exclusive thing not for us regular folk. #tease#tease
Alright friends, I just learned that the Frozen VR short DOES NOT require this VR chair.
It looks like Disney partnered with the company that makes the chair just for the premier. Details are still muddy.
I'm just excited that Disney feature is making cool stuff like this!

I lay some pre-made grids over the storyboard panel and adjust them with Photoshop's perspective tool. I eyeball it this time instead of using vanishing points.
The horizon line (dark blue) is near the top of the frame so we look down into the room.
Then using the storyboard as a guide, I rough in the architecture and major elements.
Though I used reference for the pirate ship, it's a theater stage, not a seafaring vessel, so I cheated a lot of the logistics of a ship.
