#AfriForum appears in the Magistrate's Court today for our hate speech case against Andile Mngxitama & BLF for their statements on "kill five whites". Adv. Mark Oppenheimer is representing us.

@ErnstRoets is also testifying today in this case about hate speech & #FarmMurders.

The court proceedings have begun. Firstly, the video of "kill five whites" by Mngxitama is played. His lawyer objected to the video being shown, but the magistrate ruled that the video should be played.

Ernst Roets (@ErnstRoets) has now started his testimony on hate speech and #FarmMurders.

"Why are farm attacks/murders a unique crime? They are unique in regards to their frequency, their levels of brutality, the role farmers play in our society, and the circumstances of living on a farm."
