Before that Amb. Hale said when he first heard about Giuliani's alleged involvement in the smear campaign against Yovanovtich, he apparently was dubious that Rudy would do such a thing
Hale also got an email from Amb. Yovanovitch in late March where she laid out wtf was happening with this smear campaign against her
