For the first time in history, an integral equation is stated by Jyestadeva.

The sankalita(integral/summation) of a pada(variable) is half its varga(square).

∫xdx=x²/2 +C

From the basic to the very advanced, Yuktibhasa is the founding text of calculus.

Many of results were already obtained by Jyestadeva's predecessors. But he brought together all of it into a coherent text.

Imagine what happened when these results were translated to Latin by Jesuits & studied by Europeans for the next hundred years. Is it impossible?
We know for a fact that Jesuits were translating hundreds of Sanskrit and Malayalam texts at their college in Kochi during 16th-17th century. We also know that European scholars since Fibonacci are notorious for hiding their pagan and Islamic sources.
