Raymond has entered the courtroom. He’s clean-cut, wearing prison orange and is looking down.
Defence lawyer Nathan Gorham and Crown Darlene Blunston are here, but court proceedings haven’t begun.
Justice Fred Ferguson has entered the courtroom.
Justice Ferguson acknowledges today marks day 60 for Raymond’s treatment order.
Mostly administrative discussions today.
But at issue, there isn’t a report that’s followed Raymond’s release from treatment. The court is trying to track down the doctor.
Court will come back on Dec 18 in the afternoon. Between now and then, they are, again, asking the doctor to submit a report.
Defence lawyer Nathan Gorham says the court is waiting on information from the hospital that treated Raymond as to how that treatment went.
"The doctors would usually return a report by this point in time ... but I expect that we'll get it in the next few days."
Justice Ferguson and the lawyers discussed the possibility of having another fitness hearing after receiving the information from the hospital.
Gorham says a decision on that will be made at a later date.
A disposition hearing could be held. Gorham explains that it allows either a Judge or Review Board to order where Raymond remains over the next few months and if he's going to receive certain treatment.
All that will be determined after the information from the doctor is received. Justice Fred Ferguson said:
"It's not as if this is not a serious case...We want a report and we want it as soon as possible and by that I want it in less than a week."

Insp. Kimberly Quartermain, a critical incident commander, says it was a male who was barricaded today in his own home, but voluntarily left around 3:40 today.
It was a neighbour who contacted the police. They saw a male with a firearm. Not sure if it was outside or inside the residence. The male is 28 years old, and police “have had previous contact” with him.
Police are aware of two long guns, a bullet proof vest and knives in the residence. The residence is still being secured. No shots were fired.
I'm back in court this afternoon for the Matthew Raymond trial -
Jury is in the room, cross examination has continued of Alex Pate. The Crown is asking about prior interviews/court appearances where Raymond was upset, spoke out, and in some cases, yelled during a proceeding.
We're listening to another audio recording, from June 18, 2019.
Justice Ferguson is explaining to Raymond that what he says in the courtroom can be used as evidence. Raymond says he has been asking to speak to his lawyer.
Crown completes its questions.
Defence begins again.
We can identify him only as Jeffrey because of a publication ban.
He says he recalls Raymond talking about the earth being flat and conspiracies that high-level government workers ran the world.
"When we came in he always told us to turn our phones off or put them in the truck off the car...I told him no one's listening to him, no one cares...he just had it in his head that he knew things."
Court has resumed this morning for the trial of Matthew Vincent Raymond.
I feel I should say, some of what I’ll be tweeting over this trial will be difficult to read and potentially triggering. Please keep that in mind if you’re following along. (File photo)
A paramedic who responded August 10/2018 is the first to take the stand this morning. She says at about 10:30 this morning “things actually started happening.”
She describes learning that her ambulance would be transporting the suspect to hospital. It was her second day on the ambulance.
“I was only in charge of taking vitals...and then they started...doing their head to toe assessment.”
