BREAKING: Footage from outside Jeffrey #Epstein's MCC cell during his July suicide attempt has been permanently deleted because the facility's staffers accidentally preserved video from outside a the WRONG cell, per prosecutors.
This comes after AUSA Swergold told a judge in December they couldn't find the footage -- and then corrected himself the very next day, saying it had been preserved.
The filing claims this happened because the MCC system had Epstein's onetime cellmate listed as residing in a different cell, so they preserved the footage from outside THAT cell, as opposed to the one being shared by Epstein and Nicholas Tartaglione.
Tartaglione has been seeking the footage since July, in an effort to clear his name and prove this was a suicide attempt by Epstein.
