Be objective and fair. I was once arrested by an overzealous policeman and immediately booked into a cell. Everyone protested the move and even appealed. The cop made sure I stayed in the worst condition and got punished.
I was later taken to court and released on bail
Around 3 months after the ordeal, the same senior Chief Inspector of Police called me when he was being lynched by his bosses in North Eastern.
I highlighted and protested at his mistreatment until the said boss backed off and he gained his full authority at the workplace.
I met him recently at a function and he apologised and reminded me that he learnt a lot from the ordeal.
The "useless and noisy" blogger he was being told to punished rescued him and his family from what was a career-threatening challenge.
When I was put in the cells at ATPU recently, the person who was determined to punish me and now head of ATPU is a man who commanded a killer force in Nyanza in 2016. Tweet here
He wanted to get back to me. I told him to be careful with power.
The said head of ATPU boss took me to sleep in deplorable conditions at Centrals Police Station for 14 days because OCPD central (Njeru) wanted to get back to me over this FB post
where I accused him of leading the stoning of NASA supporters.
I will insist on protecting the rights of those I disagree with except for Moses Kuria who has consistently used his position to mistreat his workers, friends, suppliers and even me.
He was NEVER held to account for planning to kill me. Because he was close to Uhuru. Ok!
The @ODPP_KE prosecutor who was used the intimidate, swear a wrongful affidavit and have me detained for over 14 days was within a month later, suspended and needed help from me.
You see? I ignored him until one day I just decided to forgive and move on.
A former Samsung East Africa boss who really mistreated me when he had the full powers was some time back SACKED over corruption. He is still begging me to help him clear his name online after his sacking was widely publicised.
Begging the man he hated most.
He can't get another job since all potential employers Google him and find very offending articles. I met him recently at the office of a mutual friend and reminded him. He blamed all including lizards in his then office but not himself.
If you are in a position of authority or you have a bigger stick, be careful how you treat those who are weak or doesn't have power.

So I need to tel you about the Locust Spraying and how the govt officers are using the menace to loot the coffers.
It’s a very simple story with high risks since the looters are in the Agriculture and Interior ministries. #Thread
When the CS Kiunjuri reaches out to aviation operators (mostly wazungus with light aircrafts in Nanyuki) to help contain the menace, the operators agreed that the menace was of concern to them and they’d agree on a standard fee.
Operators agreed that a standard fee of Ksh 60,000 ($600) per hour per flight would be paid to each of the operators fighting the locusts.
Govt officers whose departments deal with the issue and the county officers (CECs and some governors) insisted that the fee was "too low."
Sometime back, Keroche borrowed Ksh 5 billion from @Barclays_Kenya to modernize its factory. The bank needed political assurance as security for its investment.
Tabitha Karanja wrote to Pres. Kibaki to honor an invite and open modernized factory on completion. Kibaki agreed.
@Barclays_Kenya Powerful people in State House saw this schedule on the then President Kibaki's itinerary. They didn't like it. Tabitha was a threat to their wealth.
That opening of Keroche's new factory by Kibaki was silently removed from the President's itinerary. Tabitha was not aware.
@Barclays_Kenya The late Jeremiah Kiereini together with Ministers Amos Kimunya and the late John Michuki teamed up to stop Tabitha. Mrs. Kimunya was a major distributor of EABL products while Kiereini was a key shareholder of the same.
Michuki hated new money influences in Kiukuyuland.
1. I am into any business related to farming. So the other time I wanted to go farm maize in Rift Valley for commercial purposes, some senior Ministry of Agriculture officer told me that the best thing to do is wait for people to farm then buy the produce from the farms. #Thread
2. I became curious in understanding the mess in the sector and how our farmers could be helped. So I was told how the serious fraudulent scheme works.
3. Ministry of Agriculture personnel and people they are close to have understood that its not economically viable to plough, harrow, plant, weed while hoping that the weather is good that season. It's based on pure luck.
