A little late here’s my first tech thread.

A few tools I use that may help my fellow Windows Admins & Engineers.

Some you may know and some you may not.

1. IAS Viewer Log Viewer by Deep Software

Helps with monitoring radius/NPS logs. Makes reading those radius logs ALOT easier to troubleshoot issues.

Saved me more than a couple times dealing with wifi authentication issues.

2. TreeSize by Jam-Software

Scans disk space and makes it easy to find what folders or files are consuming too much space.

I use this on a weekly basis. Finding overgrown logs or users storing large video files became a lot easier.

3. 7-Zip

Although Windows Server now has integrated Zip support, there may be other archive types you need to manage.

7-Zip was great for helping me deal with all other compressed & archive file types.

4. BatchPatch

An amazing tool I was introduced to a few years ago. Powered by SysInternals and originally for rrmotely updating servers, it’s SOOO much more than that.

Deploy scripts and apps remotely, pull info, and other dope features.

5. RDCMan by Microsoft

When it comes to RDP, the Remote Desktop Connection Manager is my favorite. I can manage hundreds of servers within dozens of groups from one console.

I literally use this every day. Even for my personal computers at home lol.
