WHAT IS BLACK STAR ~THEATRE STARLESS~?
Black Star ~Theatre Starless~, otherwise known as BSTS or burasuta, is a Japanese Gacha + Rhythm Mobile Game (aka "otoge") that was released on the 11th of September, 2019. It was created by Donuts, the creator of Tokyo 7th Sisters.

The game centers around a newly-renewed show restaurant, "Theatre Starless", just called "Starless" for short, and the male employees who work and perform there.
You assume the role of (first name) Saki (last name) Kazami, a "special guest" at Starless and who is allegedly being targeted by an organization named "Black Card".
Prior to the game's release, multiple drama tracks featuring the boys were released on YouTube, featuring the arrival of Kei, who helps to renew Starless, which is currently in a run-down state due to the owner of the restaurant changing to a man named Haseyama—
who does not care for it, after the disappearance of the owner, directors and a staff member.

Let's answer the burning question: WHY SHOULD YOU PLAY BLACK STAR ~THEATRE STARLESS~?
1. WELL-WRITTEN AND UNIQUE PREMISE AND STORYLINE
The story of BSTS thoughtfully written, every action of each character heavy with meaning, each story revealing more and more about each character's personality and beliefs and foreshadowing what's to come.

The premise is also quite unique- as can be seen from above.
2. Unique characters
The cast of BSTS are all at least 18, the oldest cast member being 32 years old at the time this is written, because yes— characters age in BSTS. The characters are all wonderfully written, without being riddled with tropes and falling into flat stereotypes

Blackstar dares to have characters who are crass and insulting and relationships which are tense and complex. Each character is fundamentally different from the other, which makes every one of them interesting.
3. Unique gameplay
Blackstar is a vertical screen game, which is already quite unique, but the actual gameplay is even more unique. Attached to the normal rhythm mode is a life-saving, ACTUALLY GOOD auto mode, as well as the "rehearsal" function that—

Quick context first: The boys are split both into two categories, Performer and Singer (sometimes both), and five teams: TeamK, TeamW, TeamP, TeamB and TeamC. Each team has a distinct style and all consist of one or two Singers and the rest being Performers.
These five teams all have a "top", the leader of the team, who is generally the most skilled of them all. Each team also has a "Number 2", which is basically a vice-leader.
