1) question: do you think the FDA/USDA really has our best interests at heart? do you know how many times they have actually accomplished the exact opposite of promoting and protecting public health?

how? well… let’s dive in.

2) let’s start out with something everyone has heard of… the food pyramid.

in the early 90s, the USDA told us to mostly eat bread, cereal, grains, pasta, etc.. well, guess what happened? soon followed a rapid surge in obesity and especially diabetes. but why would they do that?
3) well… it was ULTRA profitable. 1 in 5 healthcare dollars is spent caring for people with diabetes. that’s nearly 3.5 billion dollars per year spent on diabetes and prediabetes.

we’re just getting going here.
4) how many people knew what “gluten-free” meant just 10-15 years ago? do you remember the massive wave of gluten intolerance? it wasn’t long before gluten free options were available everywhere in restaurants and groceries stores.

surely something must have caused this?
5) “GMO Wheat Escapes Lab, Grows in the Wild - In the late 90s, agriculture company Monsanto began developing wheat genetically modified to resist the company’s Roundup weed killer.”

this wheat “escaped” and appeared all over the U.S. and Canada.

6) let’s stick with monsanto in the 90s. they also introduced a genetically engineered bovine growth hormone (rbGH/rbST), which was injected into cows to increase milk supply... but it also contained more pus, antibiotics, BGH, and IGF-1, a huge factor in causes of common cancer.
7) surely this discovery should mean the demise of a company.

but no, the opposite. in 2010 obama appointed former monsanto VP michael taylor deputy commissioner of the FDA. this wasn’t his first rodeo at the FDA either.

let’s check out some of those accomplishments.
8) “The last time he was at the FDA, the agency created several policies on genetically modified foods that no one would ever call consumer-friendly.”

9) some more fun. monsanto approved genetically modified corn (and soybeans) are linked to organ failure.

"Effects concentrated in kidney and liver function, in addition, some effects on heart, adrenal, spleen and blood cells were also frequently noted."

10) so, surely people must have been catching on... but in 2013, Obama signed the Agriculture Appropriations Bill into law, including "The Monsanto Protection Act," which protected genetically modified seeds patents from litigation over health risks.

11) so can we rely on the non-GMO project? not really. farmers can still use genetically modified feed if they “can’t get enough” non-GMO feed for their animals.

is it any wonder why health in America is declining while diseases and food-related illnesses are on the rise?
12) where are we now? well, a burger from a soy by-product of a genetically modified species of yeast is now available for children at 180k burger kings. there are also 40 other genetically modified by-products in these "plant based meats.”

foodandwine.com/news/burger-ki…
13) you read that number right... about 40 GM by-products in "plant-based" meats.

a massively processed food. and now we know what modified and processed foods do to us!

anyway… do your research and take care of yourselves my friends. maybe start a garden while you still can!
