So finally I hit 1 million followers on Instagram

A1 - 399K
A2 - 286K
A3 - 357K

I had 20k followers and one account just over 2 years ago.

Consistency pays. I never missed a day in last 2 years.

Crazy things happen when you don't give up.
Am I happy with the number of followers? Yes. Of course.

But, am I happy with the amount of money I make with those account? Hell no.

I've realized Im really good at growing accounts but not so good at monetizing them.

I'm learning that and hopefully will improve in 2020
The other reason I'm not making money as much as I'd like to is the NICHE.

All of my IG accounts are in men's fashion niche. And I'm only selling ebooks.

Dressing well is not as big of a pain as not having money.

Lesson?

Your niche matters a lot.
I think if I want to start making some serious money from these accounts

I'll have to start my clothing or accessories brand.

I've tried Dropshipping in the past but I hate the longer shipping times and quality of the products is not good either.

I've yet not decided.
I'm sure someone with great marketing skills can make $50k to $100k per month from these accounts.

I don't make anything close to that.

After all I'm an Architect and still learning this marketing game.

Hopefully will get there soon.
I've never paid anyone to promote my account, I never bought followers, I've never used any engagement groups or automation software.

This 100% organic growth.

The "secret" is

1. Content that's trending on Instagram

2. Right hashtags

That's all you need.
Now I've to be honest, it's not as easy as it was a year or two ago to grow on Instagram.

They've killed the organic reach big time.

I used to gain 2k+ followers a day last year, now I get 200 to 300 new followers a day.

It's getting difficult to grow fast.
However, it's not impossible.

So two things you need to grow on IG.

1. Content that's trending
2. Hashtags

Find content in your niche that's getting the most engagement compared to other content in the same niche.

Use 17 to 20 hashtags
Here's how I use hashtags

5 to 7 hashtags that have 20k to 100k posts

5 to 7 hashtags that have 100k to 500k posts

5 to 7 hashtags that have 500k to 1mn posts

3 to 5 hashtags that are biggest in your niche ( 10mn, 30mn etc)

This mix has worked very well for me. Try it.
Alright, if you've any questions feel free to DM me.

Also, unlike many other gurus here on Twitter, I'm not going to hide my accounts.

So take a look

instagram.com/lifestylebyps

instagram.com/mensfashionlab…

instagram.com/capsulewardrob…
Notice how similar all three accounts look.

So, basically what I do is find content and post it on my biggest account.

Then repost the same the same content on other two accounts a few days later.

This way I save a lot of time and energy.

If you do it right, Twitter can change your life.

It did mine.

Here are 5 simple frameworks to grow faster on Twitter

< THREAD >
1. Spread Positivity

Positivity will take you a long way.

Always encourage people. Motivate them. Help them. Make their lives better.

If you don’t agree with someone or something, ignore it. Don’t argue. Don’t hate.

Move on and keep spreading positivity.
2. Create more than you consume

Twitter is either the best or the worst use of your time

If you’re creating…
you’ll make more money. Build connections. Win.

If you’re only consuming…
you’ll waste your time.

7 Twitter commenting mistakes you need to avoid at all costs 🧵
What's the fastest way to go from 0 to 1k followers?

It's commenting on big accounts in your niche.

But most people do this wrong and hurt their growth. Eventually give up.

Stop making these "growth killing" mistakes

Let's go...

PS. Retweet the first tweet. Thanks 🙏
1. Don't hate

If you don't agree with someone's POV

Just ignore it

Leaving hate comment will get you nothing

Most big accounts will block you

Twitter is a great place to network with winners

Don't burn bridges by leaving hateful comments

No upside
