9:10am: Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir has hit out at Opposition leaders for withdrawing their support for Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad after initially backing him as prime minister, saying "The rakyat is not stupid".

1:06pm: Wangsa Maju MP Datin Paduka Dr Tan Yee Kew said that PKR has given its full support to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to become the 8th PM.
1:15pm: Kulim-Bandar Baru MP Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail told the media that PKR has voted for someone from the party to be PM, but declined to say who the person was.

According to Anwar, the Pakatan presidential council had invited Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to chair the meeting to recover the Pakatan gov't: "But Dr Mahathir did not agree to attend that meeting on Tuesday."

Also spotted at the residence were Bersatu deputy president Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir and several supreme council members, as well as women’s wing chief Datuk Seri Rina Harun.
