I was so shocked to learn of the explosion at Abule Ado area of Festac, Lagos state, yesterday, and the terrible toll being exacted by the explosion on the residents, and parents, staff and students of Bethlehem Catholic School. 
My heartfelt condolences go out to the families of all those who have died and my deep sympathy to the many that have lost their homes in this tragedy.
Though the loss is unbelievably difficult and the next few months or even years will be difficult in working on rebuilding

...but faith will overcome fears, doubt, hopelessness and insecurities.
It is my prayer that this calamity that has been experienced will develop the strength and fortitude needed for tomorrow and that God will sustain all those that were affected and help them
