1/n My first attempt at creating a singular index (34 different time series) of public racial liberalism (1970-2019) using Stimson's dyad ratios algorithm (which helps circumvent missing data issues). 
2/n This will allow me to incorporate the NYT and other newspaper data to assess whether racial liberalism is responsive to shifts in media coverage
3/n I will be creating one for immigration as well. Stay tuned :)
