On @TF1, a doctor at one Paris hospital reports that there have been 150 medical workers who have been infected with #COVID19 at his institution alone.
Firefighters in Paris have been responding to 1500 calls per day, a third of which are #Covid_19fr related. About 15 firefighters have been infected as a result.
President @EmmanuelMacron is speaking live in front of emergency medical tents — it looks like he’s in a war zone. Recall that he recently made a speech in which he repeated “we are at war” over and over. He keeps calling for national solidarity to fight the war against #COVID19. 
The Parisian hospital system is calling for thousands of medical workers — including students and retired professionals — to volunteer to help the health system.

French agriculture companies are facing a shortage of workers, especially with the borders closed. One farmer says they’ll have to throw strawberries away because they lack the manpower to pick them and another said they’ve dropped their asparagus production by two thirds.
