Daily #CPFC shirt #2: Away 1993/94. Our first Black kit. Unfortunately due to unexpected relegation from Prem, we were unable to wear it as it clashed with refs who still wore black in FL. Worn just once in a 7-1 win at Crawley Town with red socks. Image
Nescafe was rumoured to be the sponsor, but they pulled out after relegation. The one time Palace got their act together and had all three new kits ready for sale a week after the season ended. Sponsorship deal eventually signed with TDK in September 93.
Daily Palace Kit #3: 1999/2000 away. A glimmer of hope in the dark days of Administration. Shamelessly modelled on the Escape to Victory shirt. Teamed with Blue Shorts and Socks and match by match sponsorship deals. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily Palace Kit #4: Away 1994/95. As it's April Fools Day, this seemed appropriate. Our Home and Away shirts initially had a ring of eagles on the sleeve. Idea was scrapped due to fan outcry and the fact they didn't survive in the wash. More...

The eagle graphic is truly awful. Only the away kit made it to sale in the club shop and then for only a fortnight before refunds and exchanges were made for a plain version. I kept mine, but then a fool and his money are easily parted. Image
Daily Palace Shirt #5: Away 1990/91. The season we finished third and won the ZDS. We also had an alternate red away kit with blue trim. Such a great idea, sadly never revisited. This shirt particularly fetches a high price these days. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily Palace Shirt #6: Cure Leukaemia Fundraiser 2016. These shirts were offered by the Legend that is @GeoffThomasGTF with chance to get fans' names printed on as part of the design. @suetext70 and I both took advantage. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies #cpfc ImageImageImage
Daily Palace Shirt #7: Away 2011/12. Aside from THAT goal from Darren Ambrose and condemning Brighton to their first ever League defeat at the Amex, this shirt actually holds greater memories for me away from #cpfc. More... #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #8: Home 1995/96. I started this last week with my favourite Palace shirt, a week later here's my least favourite. Those fading stripes... Ewww. Brings back bad memories of the Play Off Final too. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc Shirt #9: Away 2017/8. I have a lot of time for the simplicity of this one, but no-one seems agree. There was a trend for off-white away kits that season, ours was more subtle with a broad shadow stripe. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc Shirt #10: Home 2009/10. The Heroes of Hillsborough. Hardly a classic design, being a Nike template, but one of my favourite Palace memories was forged on that day. Belongs to @suetext70, a present for her 40th - also player signed.
#kitsoutforthelads #andladies ImageImage
Daily #cpfc shirt #11: FA Cup Final 1990. 30 years to the day since we qualified for our first FA Cup Final in a game that was once voted the greatest televised Club game ever. The day that dreams truly did come true and the happiest of my life. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies ImageImage
Daily #cpfc shirt #12: Away 2010/11. Caused a bit of controversy when revealed, as the sash goes the 'wrong' way. Me? I like it a lot - plain with small sponsor. This shirt is match-worn by one of my 'guilty faves': Claude Davis. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies ImageImage
Daily #cpfc Shirt #13: 1990 Cup Final Replay. Unlucky for Palace. After one of the most memorable Finals, the replay was just awful in every way. Even the red flock on the virgin logo washed off the rushed out replica shirts... rubbish. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc Shirt #14: Away 1980/82. Sky Blue is an unusual colour for a Palace away shirt. Maybe because we didn't have a lot of luck wearing it as the Team of the 80's crashed, burned and sodded off to QPR. A lovely present from @davelewis22 #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #CPFC shirt #15: Third 2018/19. This shirt debuted without advance notice away at Huddersfield and was immediately considered lucky 'cos we won. As a result, got more outings than it deserved. As noted before, I'm not a big fan of 'fade' kits. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc Shirt #16: Away 1985/87. A classic take on the sash. Fierce controversy reigns on t'internet as to whether there was also a blue version of this. Personally, I'm a non-believer. If it did exist it certainly wasn't commercialy available #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #CPFC Shirt #17: Sample 1993. A potential design for Palace away strip, there was also a green and white halved option. Green hasn't been a major colour of any Palace strip. The material ended up being the basis for the keepers' kit that year. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #CPFC Shirt #18: Leisure Shirt c.1991. Beaten to the punch today by @Carl_Unofficial, but hey. I lost a bet and had to wear this oddity to Play Off Final in 2013. Look closely at the pattern to find the New York skyline and Niagara Falls. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies ImageImage
Daily #CPFC shirt #19: Third 2013/14. Plain, unfussy and one of my favourite designs since our return to the Prem. The shirt we won in and hit 40 points that first season back. Homage to our special Anglo-Italian 1971 kit. More...

The kit debuted away at WBA, when white numbers were used which caused a bit of an outcry. Thereafter, numbers were red and it looked fine.

BTW The hangover after that Everton game was one of the worst of my life!
Been told the Everton 40 point game was exactly 6 years ago today! Happy accident!
Daily #CPFC Shirt #20: Home 2004/05. A pretty unremarkable shirt and way too long, but much better than the previous two seasons' home designs. And then someone spotted the spelling mistake... #kitsoutforthelads #andladies ImageImage
Daily #cpfc shirt #21: Away 2013/14. Dubbed the 'evil sash', this shirt was the result of a persistent internet campaign by the fans. An absolute thunderbastard from Dwight Gayle up at Villa Park is my most vivid memory of this one. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #CPFC shirt #22: Masters Home 2008. The one occasion Palace were invited to play Sky's Masters tournament. Got stitched up, so didn't progress, as I recall. Admiral's best effort at a red & blue stripes had the smallest audience. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #23: Home 1940's. (Retro). A decent TOFFS effort, but let down by the badge where they have added the years 1948/49. Not only inauthentic, but that season we finished bottom of Div 3 South and had to apply for re-election. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #24: Home 1987/8. By request from @PabloBolco1, I dont have the exact Andrew Copeland sponsor version he asked for, but this is @Mark__Bright matchworn shirt from our very first Wembley appearance in the Mercantile Credit #kitsoutforthelads #andladies ImageImage
Daily #cpfc shirt #25: Away 2007/8. In tandem with @Carl_Unofficial, this was a barely used design. Fell foul of Lge regs so was only used once at Watford in FA Cup. Carl is showing the hasty all white alternative on his feed today. More... #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
The kits that year were so bad, until today they hadn't been out of the packaging or bag! No wonder we used to call the manufacturer 'Dire Errea'. Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #26: Home 1970/71. The first kit I owned and also the first strip I saw Palace play in at home to Forest in on 5th Sept 1970. This particular shirt is a remake commissioned by the much-loved Eagle Eye fanzine. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #27: 2016 Cup Final shirt. This one stings - not just because we lost the Final, but also cos I didn't make the Semi 4 years ago today, due to an prior appointment running the London Marathon. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #28: Home 1958/61. The shirt that is synonymous with our legend Johnny Byrne. Was one of the most popular shirts from the Eagle Eye retro shirts range. The stitched patch badge was an authentic detail overlooked by other suppliers. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #29: Home 1993/94. When worlds collide. I went straight from a defeat away at Notts Co. to a @numanofficial gig wearing this. I asked him to sign it at the aftershow with plan to frame it. Then I realised he'd signed it upside down! #kitsoutforthelads #andladies ImageImage
Daily #cpfc shirt #30: Away 2002/03. Another kit that was unannounced prior to its debut at a friendly away at Bournemouth. Overriding first impression was that we looked like a team of vicars. Often played like 'em too when wearing it. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #31: Away 1993/94. We won the Championship in this shirt up at Ayresome Park, which also proved to be our last ever visit to that ground. Converted a young Oldham fan that day too - his Dad wasn't best pleased. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #32: Away 1977/79 (retro). Originally made by Admiral, the proper shirt was a lot more tailored than this. In my memory the black shoulder flashes were thinner and slightly shorter too. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc Shirt #33: Goalkeeper 1991/92. This number isn't matchworn but is signed by my favourite Palace 'keeper: Nigel Martyn. Daily Palace shirts is pausing for a while, whilst I do a month of my Palace 'Tat' instead. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies ImageImage
Daily #cpfc shirt #34: Centenary Shirt 2005. Unusual long sleeve, player-issue shirt that marked our Centenary year, before all the #since1861 stuff took hold. Dougie didn't come on in the games it was used so it's 'bench' rather than match-worn. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies ImageImage
Daily Palace shirt #35: Away 1990/91. Recalling the season of our best ever League performance finishing 3rd. This was the lesser used to the two aways that season, but I particularly remember a fine win at Loftus Road wearing all red. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily Palace Shirt #36: Away 1987/88. Welcome to the 1980s! The peculiar Lemon colour and broad shadow stripe were de rigueur at the time. Mine still has red paint marks from the freshly painted terrace barriers at Barnsley early that season. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies ImageImage
Daily #cpfc shirt #37: Away 2006/07. A odd choice of colour, feels very un-Palace. Those 'heat' spots on the sleeve were supposed to change colour when the players got a sweat on. They didn't appear to work... or maybe they did! #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #38: Away 95/96. I've always felt it's bad luck to have a downward V in a design: this season we ultimately lost in the Play Off Final (albeit in home kit). However the Semi Final win in this at The Valley will always be treasured. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #39: Home 1973/76. Forget what pre-war programmes might infer, this was our first foray into Scarlet Red and Royal Blue stripes. Introduced by BIg Mal, along with Eagles nickname, to bring some Continental flair to South London #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc Shirt: Home 2002/03. I recall having a right old rant about this kit when I was Editor of Palace Echo. Annoyed by: 'Sweatstain' Armpit patches, shockingly baggy fit, Pantaloon shorts, not enough red... still not a huge fan of it today. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #41: Home 1977/79. The first original Palace shirt in my collection. Had others previous that didn't survive hand-me-downs and house moves. Lovely to look at, awful to wear. Scratchy 'airflow' material was very uncomfortable. More:

Daily #cpfc shirt #42: Away 2003/04. From our earliest Admiral yesterday, to their last 1st team shirt to date. A shirt forever wrapped in the memories of the 2004 Play-off games at Sunderland & Cardiff. Unfortunately signed by Neil Shipperley, tho. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #43: Home 1967/1970 (retro). The shirt that saw Palace rise into the Top Flight of English Football for the first time. Also the first design recreated by Eagle Eye in the nineties which was very eagerly received at the time. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #44: Away 1997/98. A shirt that automatically invokes the memory of one player. Just One. He's even signed it. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies #justonelombardo Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #45: Away 2009/10. A bit too Seaweedy for my tastes, so like many, I didn't buy it immediately. Big Mistake as the Club Shop didn't bother restock after initial run, so I missed out... until @suetext70 won this in a raffle. Handy. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #46: Away 2012/3. Not the finest of design, but will forever be associated with that glorious night down in Falmer when Wilf ruled the roost and fired us to Wembley. His face full of pure, naked joy is seared into Palace legend. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #47. Away 1970/72 (retro). The 'treblebuster' the shirt we wore when we stopped Arsenal winning the domestic treble in 1971. A big favourite of mine, so much so that when Eagle Eye lads did the remake they stitched me up. More...
#kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #48: Away 2000/01. The 'Stockport" shirt. Memories of a skin-of-the-teeth escape from relegation and a cracking hangover after going on Fred's stag-do the day before in Droylsden of all places.
#kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Daily #cpfc shirt #49: Home 1971/72 (retro). Known as the Ajax shirt, or back then, the Embassy shirt (due to its similarity with the packet of that brand of fags). This is 1st version from Eagle Eye & the collar band is the wrong colour s/b claret. #kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
Final daily #cpfc shirt #50: Away 2019/20. That's fifty shirts done, one for every year I've been going to Selhurst. Ending on a current design to mark the restart of the Prem today. New #cpfc related daily series starts tomorrow.
#kitsoutforthelads #andladies Image
I could probably do 50 more of these, but I think I've probably covered most of the noteworthy shirts in the collection. Thanks for following!
