Love is one hot night. Love is richness & depth of a lifetime together.

The benefits & burdens of loving relationships are equitably distributed.

Love is not the bulk of the benefits to one, while the bulk of the burdens to another. 3/19

Love wants you to be fulfilled. Love wants you to find your fulfillment.

Love wants your potential realized. Love wants you to realize your potential. 4/19

Love gives you space but is close enough to support you.
Love doesn’t suffocate but is there for you.
Love feels safe but is not complacent. 5/19

Love is self-love. Love is self-forgiveness. Love is self-compassion. Love is self-worth. Love is self-esteem. Love is self-care.

Love communicates. Love listens. Love speaks the truth of its heart. Love wants to be honest & wants honesty, even when it’s hard.

Love is empathetic. Love is compassionate.

Love does not try to force you into harmful, socially constructed boxes. Love loves you for you.

Love gives children guidance, structure & unconditional love.

Love replaces sexist ‘mothering’ & ‘fathering’ with loving, nurturing parenting. Love replaces sexist divisions of labor with equitably balanced living 12/19

Love is proud of children when they speak their truth. Love is proud of children when they point out our own mistakes.

Love doesn’t say ‘because I said so!’.

Love explains. love teaches. love gives.

Love admits when it's wrong & apologizes. 13/19

Love doesn’t parent as a dictator. Love gives children the tools of critical thinking & self-determination. Love wants the next generation to have the tools to realize their own potential & find their own fulfillment. 14/19

Love doesn’t force children to fit into harmful, socially constructed boxes. Love allows. Love treats children with love & respect.

Love knows children learn more by example, then by hypocritical words. 15/19

Loving education puts critical thinking over obedience and relentless curiosity over enduring boredom & alienation.
