1. I have no idea why Gov. Cuomo's popularity is so high when virtually everyday he complains about not having enough beds and ventilators, and he takes absolutely no responsibility for his poor decisions prior to this virus;
2. but for the Trump administration -- working with major corporations to make ventilators and the Army Corps of Engineers, among others, building temporary hospitals and providing beds -- these huge gaps wouldn't be getting filled as well as they are.
3. I also notice the reporters covering his daily press conferences are not rude, rarely challenge him, and, in fact, treat him with great deference. This is not to say that Cuomo isn't doing some things well, but the rest is quite noticeable.
