In these times I recall frequently the call I received from the manager at a small bank branch back in March 2011, telling me that he would open the branch at 9:00 AM on Monday, as it always opened, and that businesses banking there could expect deposits taken and loans made.
Sometimes, the thing most within one's power is to be operating on Monday, and in that thing there is grace, purpose, and a contribution to society.
