Yesterday, Jared Kushner told us the national stockpile is not meant to help out the states. Apparently he was serious. Montgomery County received 5,000 rotted masks from the stockpile.

Local farmer, restaurants & stores are at work to keep the community fed. In return, the community is supporting these local businesses so they can get through the crisis.
Groups across the state are 3D printing & preparing to manufacture substitutes for PPE as our supplies of masks & gowns run low. Toyota is using one of its facilities to produce face shields.
All across Alabama, folks are making masks. There is a large Birmingham-based group on Facebook & folks putting creativity & ingenuity to work across the state.
Top State leaders must take this seriously now so we can be prepared in a couple of weeks, when infection is expected to outstrip resources here. @GovernorKayIvey should follow leaders like @SenDougJones & Mayor @randallwoodfin who urge her to adopt a statewide shelter in place.
