So. One of the many reasons I’m pushing kitchen gardening so hard is because food insecurity is scary AF. Anyone with the means to start a #RecoveryGarden should. Grow food for yourself. Give some away if you can. Donate $$ you save on grocery shopping to food pantries.
Gardening doesn’t have to be expensive. You don’t need to spend a fortune on supplies. Seeds are cheap. Compost you make yourself is free. Food containers can be repurposed into growing containers. Rain water can be collected in containers you already have

Here’s my #RecoveryGarden, I started tons of seeds and plan to give a bunch of baby plants away to family members for their gardens, once the seedlings are ready to be transplanted.
