@PracticalStoic @RoamResearch I think just a straight-up wiki might be a better plan. Lighter-weight, same structures.

But it's dangerous to go alone. Take this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lexicon_(…
@PracticalStoic @RoamResearch Though there are elements of @RoamResearch that'd make Lexicon in Roam easier. The problem, not surprisingly, is "namespace." Which I'm already running into in my daily use.
@PracticalStoic @RoamResearch Multiple games are going to build up a lot of pages with the same name that _shouldn't_ be conflated/merged. To keep them seperate, you need page names with prefixes/suffixes. This can be quite annoying.
@PracticalStoic @RoamResearch Maybe what we need is a way to "calve off" additional namespaces. Pages which themselves define a namespace. Anything linked from them or pages linked directly from them have an assumed automatic prefix/suffix. Linking into that set from outside would require it manually.
@PracticalStoic @RoamResearch So, I might create a standard [[Lexicon Games]] page with a fictional {{prefix:LexGam}} in there somewhere. Anything referred to directly by that page or descendents could just be like "[[Axolotl]]: A bugbear salamander" but from outside "[[LexGam{:}Axolotl]]".
@PracticalStoic @RoamResearch It's not PERFECT because of the circularity of potential references. But it's a thought, anyway. Some kind of namespace segregation within single Roam databases (Roamspaces?) is going to need to come into being eventually.
