Now that we’ve all been WFH for a few weeks, some of us at Wirecutter have settled into it better than others. We've rounded up some of our best advice (wrctr.co/3aSjO1G), but if you’re still looking for WFH setup inspo, here’s some of our desks right now:
Community Lead @erindanika's current setup believes that less hardware, and more creative inspiration, is better:
Lead Editor @kingthor's battlestation, which is outfitted with multiple Wirecutter picks like the Herman Miller Sayl office chair (wrctr.co/2JMbggK):
Staff writer @thomdunn's current "WFH while moving in a pandemic" setup that's getting the job done in a pinch:
Some of us at Wirecutter are huge proponents of having multiple monitors 🖥🖥🖥
Associate Staff Writer @elissasanci has taken over this corner of her living room while she scours the web to round up the best deals out there (including her most recent piece on OXO's sitewide sale: wrctr.co/2XkCH9y)
Living rooms aren't the only rooms we've set up our WFH station. Software Engineer @SirJesstheBrave's setup is in her closet (speaking of resourcefulness, her mouse pad is actually a book of Marlene Dietrich photos):
We're big believers in using the things you already have. Laptop stands are great, but you can also easily save that $ by using a stack of books instead. They're just as effective as a fixed-height laptop stand, which Staff Writers @justinkrajeski and @sarah_witman can attest to:
No books? No problem. Updates Writer @JimTAustin uses a board game box to elevate his laptop stand even higher and Staff Writer @signe's WFH station features a tissue box laptop stand in their sleek setups:
Small home office upgrades that can boost your productivity (wrctr.co/2V9aRKC): 1. Get as much natural light as you can & 2. Keep plants around. Assoc. Managing Editor @danielagorny's setup, right, might have the rest of us beat when it comes to having greenery within view
Deputy Editor @annemarieconte turned part of her attic into her WFH base, which features our keyboard pick, monitor pick, and our standing desk pick that she's long-term testing:
Our Editor-in-Chief @BenFrumin’s WFH setup (little Frumin for scale):
Behold, Lead Engineer @_ghosttoast's slick WFH setup featuring Abe, who is 1. helping and 2. automatically catapulting this setup into the top 5 of Wirecutter staff WFH setups:
3 important things to note from Senior Staff Writer @EveONeill7's WFH setup:

1. all the natural light & greenery,
2. the improvised laptop stands,
and 3. that her bunny likes to hide under the desk 🐰
And lastly, Lead Software Engineer @justinyost's WFH setup, which embodies the phrase "You Can Have Any Color You Want, As Long As It's Black" 🖤
