American's are known for ingenuity, hard work and sacrifice. We are too reliant on multiple JIT processes and off shore manufacturing. Let's get think about what makes the economy more resilient and push more business to the small local businesses. The ones Wall Street kills off.
Five years ago was pointing out the renaissance in small manufacturing, farm to table, hub and spoke local delivery. Pushing money inward not outward. We need to remove middlemen and vendors who don't have a stake in your survival. The ma and pa greasy spoon model. #WaffleHouse
We like Waffle House but its not a local business. No profit goes to the staff. So where is the incentive to be the best restaurant in town. Box stores need to die. Lets get back to funky, friendly and local. The supply chain can support it. We need to as well. ©RYP
