This was inevitable. The Democrats are pushing for this, so if the GOP doesn't, voting will end up easier for Democrats and extra barriers in the way of their base.

As I've said, the solution to most of our voting woes was right here in front of us the entire time: Long lines, closed polling places, tricky ballot marking machines, no paper trail.

The postal system needs to stay afloat because businesses and agencies rely on it, but (except for overseas military personnel) there are ways around for local voting.
Some states already have drop off locations.
