He's on the Ebola team at Pasteur Institute. We've talked at length about #COVIDー19. I listen to him because, on diseases, he's never been wrong.
Here's what you should know:

3. Even if they have a vaccine tomorrow, it won't be ready to give to the masses until probably the end of 2021.

4. Pasteur is the best at what they do. They take their jobs seriously. They can't put out a vaccine until it has been tested and all known negative side effects of the vaccine are known. This is so we don't have a drug w/side effects that will kill a large number of patients.
5. The virus doesn't die at 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It dies at 122 degrees Fahrenheit. Spring or Summer in the average American state won't kill the virus.
6. Even in states where temps get above 122 degrees, the virus can still live in your house, car, grocery stores, etc.

But, what about those who've already had COVID?

9. Experts don't know if #COVIDー19 can live in the body even with anti-bodies against it, if there were dormant virus cells that awaken later, or if the patient was reinfected immediately upon leaving the hospital.

11. Until there is a vaccine, assuming the virus doesn't have a chance to mutate before that happens, we will continue to have peaks in deaths due to the virus, & it is entirely possible that this virus could cause all other pandemics to pale in its wake.
12. Going out and socializing while infected (showing symptoms or not) could cause the virus to mutate. Ignoring Stay-At-Home orders is not only putting your lives at risk, it is putting all lives at risk. Greed could save the Dow while killing off our species.
13. If you think it's smart to listen to a politician while ignoring the scientists (& I mean REAL scientists, not the snake oil salesman on Facebook), you are the problem.
