@hasufl @TheRealBlockFi on bitfinex put USD in margin wallet, borrow BTC go to wallet->currency conversions, convert BTC to L-BTC. there's no market it's 1:1 no fee conversion. on BTSE it's automatic: in exchange there is no difference between L-BTC and BTC you just choose type on withdrawal/deposit.

@hasufl @TheRealBlockFi @BullBitcoin_ and on BTSE you put USD margin and borrow BTC and then withdraw either BTC or L-BTC. @btsecom is multicurrency (single orderbook, integrated forex), so margin could be any of their 9 currencies supported, or 4 stable coins.
@hasufl @TheRealBlockFi @BullBitcoin_ @BTSEcom and here's doing an exchange transfer from @bitfinex to @btsecom using @Liquid_BTC #liquidNetwork (which per your example you could borrow those BTC against USD margin, then convert to L-BTC using the wallet 1:1 conversion on borrowed BTC balance)
@hasufl @TheRealBlockFi @BullBitcoin_ @BTSEcom @bitfinex @Liquid_BTC and a few mins later here's L-BTC @Liquid_BTC transferred BTC ready to trade/use as margin on @btsecom blockstream.info/liquid/VJL9iEy… so yes you can borrow L-BTC (for trading via BTC and being 1:1 and exchangeable) and transfer it between exchanges and your own cold storage in minutes.
@hasufl @TheRealBlockFi @BullBitcoin_ @BTSEcom @bitfinex @Liquid_BTC and actually that wasn't 15 btc, it was a bit more but due to confidential transactions you can't see :) could be 1, 10, 100, 1,000 or 10,000 and no one can see other than sender and recipient.
@hasufl @TheRealBlockFi @BullBitcoin_ @BTSEcom @bitfinex @Liquid_BTC so don't think about L-BTC as another trading asset/trading pair, just an exchange trader focussed transport method for BTC. move and trade in a few mins for 1-2c, vs 3-6 mainchain confirmations at busy trading times for high fees while still anxiously waiting for settlement.
