Ryan Grim is trying to use a detail of the NYT story to “confirm” Reade’s allegation. The NYT article claims that two former Biden interns (who never heard Reade mention anything about an alleged assault) say that Reade stopped supervising them in April.

But, in Reade’s own words, after filing a complaint she was demoted and eventually told she has a month to find another job. If the complaint happened in April, Reade kept working for the office for four more months, until August.

Reade claims that after she filed her complaint, which again must have been in April, she was effectively blacklisted from working in Washington.

She also claims she worked the RFK Memorial event on June 3, 1993.

How would a “blacklisted“ person work this event?

And here is a letter Reade was given after working the event.

She probably did work the event, again it just doesn’t track that if she was blacklisted why she would be working the event.

She also has previously claimed that the note from Ethel Kennedy was “handwritten” when it clearly is not.

It’s a pretty standard template with Ethel Kennedy signing her name and writing who it is for.

Maybe she has a tendency to exaggerate?

“Soon after” the RFK event, she was offered a job to work for a campaign in California, but turned it down to move to the Midwest w/ her husband.

Reade left Biden’s office in August, two months after the RFK event. How convenient she was fired right when her husband was moving?

And circling back to the intern thing, if Reade was hired at the end of January, and she was relieved of intern duties in April, she definitely has an awful lot of stories about hiring interns for all of two months

In 2019, Reade said the event that led to her eventual firing was because she refused to serve drinks at an event.

In 2020, Reade is saying the event that led to her eventual firing was filing a report of sexual misconduct against Biden.

These are entirely different.

Reade told the Washington Post last year “it’s not [Biden]” and that he “should have known what was happening” to her (likely in regards to being demoted for not serving drinks).

If Biden did in fact sexually assault her, wouldn’t he know what was happening?

Also, I’m glad that both the Washington Post and NBC have pointed out that Reade has changed the story of her time in Washington:

First, she moved because of a SO

Next she quit because of her love of Russia and wanting to be an actress

Last, she was fired/blacklisted by Biden

As others have pointed out, namely @thankful4biden , Reade was a part of a workplace lawsuit in which she claims she was discriminated against for “being too white”.

Reade has been involved in at least three other lawsuits, though as a defendant over unpaid debts.

Twice with Synchrony Bank and once with Southwestern Law School.

Reade has previously blogged about her attempts to pass the California bar on several occasions.

Her blog for her experiences on unemployment has the same title as her original accusation against Biden “a girl walks into...”

In 2012 Reade claimed that she was having problems finding work due to her poor credit rating.

She now claims that she is having problems finding work because she called a Russian agent

Tara earlier this year in March:

“Scorch. The. Fucking. Earth. Rage. Fuck unity.”

Also, she repeatedly uses the phrase “tick tock” in an ominous way.

The “novel/memoir” she is writing, “The Last Snow Tiger” is about Russia.

Why would she be writing a memoir about Russia?

And the “I OnLy WaS iNtErEStEd iN RuSsiA bEcAuSe oF a NoVeL I WaS wRiTiNg” line is complete bullshit.

In 2018, she wrote what amounts to a pro-Putin love letter

She’s super concerned over being called a Russian asset (which I don’t personally believe she is) to the point she threatens nearly everyone with “legal action”.

It’s likely because she feels that she is “losing work” over being called a Russian asset.

But, like, she has a history or blaming everyone besides herself for why she cannot get work:

93- Blacklisted
2013- bad credit
2020- Russian agent smears

It’s a pattern

She has financial troubles now, she’s had financial troubles since at least ~2009.

People calling her a Russian agent in 2020 is not why she filed for bankruptcy in ‘12. It’s not why her landlord try to evict her in 2013. It’s not why her bank took her to court in 16 and 17.
