And this one. Both were cited as "misgendering" . They said these views (that women and girls should not have to shower, change, share sleeping accommodation) with genitally intact males are "extreme"
They compared my belief that women should be able to have female only services (as allowed by the Equality Act) to a man's wish to marry an underage girl. They talked about "Incitement to Hatred". They called it irrational for women to want a female only refuge
The judge did not quite agree. He said "It is quite possible to accept that TW are women but still argue that there are certain circumstances in which it would be justified to exclude....certain TW from spaces that are generally only open to women assigned female at birth"
He didn't explain how women in refuges were supposed to explain *why* they do not want to live with males, or receive rape counselling from males .... if they are not allowed to say they are male and their trauma reaction is judged to be irrational bigotry.

Alex Sharpe from Keele University and Garden Court Chambers (and advisor to the @FutureGender project) recently wrote in a Modern Law Journal Article that it in Sharpe's view it would not be proportionate under the Equality Act to exclude a transwoman from a woman's refuge
