All the brilliant minds could come up with was shut down non-essential businesses instead of implementing a policy that allows businesses to run while implementing safety precautions? Don’t tell me it’s not possible because essentials are already doing exactly that as we speak.
OSHA, NIOSH etc need to come up with industry specific standards for COVID-19. Conferences need to happen immediately with industry leaders to develop new standards for this. We’ve been doing this since the 70’s whenever a new hazard is introduced to a workplace. It’s not hard.
We need to rely on procedures for dealing with workplace hazards that have been proven effective over the last fifty years, not at inaccurate models that change everyday of the week.
