If you allow your mind to overthink, it will.

It will not self correct yourself.

Only you can do that.

The main part of stepping out of the cycle of over thinking is to SPOT the signs of when its taking place

That's where the journey begins
'Why does the mind over think in the first place?'

Because that's the natural nature.

Look up.

Why does the clouds in the sky move around?

'Uh.... because it is the nature?'

Yessir. But all hope isn't lost
Your mind can become your best friend or your worst enemy.

Most people treat It like their worst enemy due to a lack of knowledge.

'Which book can I read??!'

This thread will be enough

But I don't mean external knowledge.

I mean internal knowledge. Self awareness
The mind has a lot of parallels with the cellphone.

Truth be told, observe your relationship with your phone

And you'll see a lot of similarities with yourself and the mind
When someone gets addicted to the phone, they blame the phone.

In reality, they should be blaming the awareness.

The phone is just a tool

Your consciousness is what gives the tool life.
But let's back up for a second

Why do you really overthink in the first place?

'Uh... because I need to think to survive.'

Incorrect.

'Huh??'

Yes. That's a limiting belief.

Very shocking, I know, but stick with me
Do you think when you are talking to your best friend?

'Uh.. not really.'

How do you behave with them?

'I just flow & am in the moment.'

Exactly. So you just debunked that you HAVE to think

Thinking is not like breathing. You can turn it off & on

MAJOR wakeup call
One of the biggest lies we have been sold is that we can't function without thinking

That thinking is a great act.

'Are you saying its not??'

Thinking isn't a great act.

Knowing WHEN to think is a great act
Sort of like with the phone.

Just being on the phone to be on the phone is not good.

It's actually a sign of addiction.

But being on the phone when you need to strategically Google something is smart.

Once you got your answer, put the phone back in your pocket

The end
But we don't do that with our mind

'Where were we conditioned that thinking alone was good?'

In school.

We were given great grades for 'learning' but not really

We were taught, thinkers ran the world
But knowing how to think is just like knowing how to strategically use the phone

A habit is an act that you do without thinking

And most of your life is made up of habits.

So thinking is great. But it ultimately comes down to knowing WHEN to think
People who think too much chase the illusion of solving problems

But in reality, they are further engraining themselves into the overthinking cycle.

In your mind you are intellectually solving a problem.

Just for another to pop up...

And another...

And another.....
The mind was meant to be a servant.

The heart was meant to be the master.
'Why do you say that?'

Because the mind thinks in dualistic methods. It holds the ego.

The ego is never satisfied. Keeps wanting more.

The ego is greedy.

The heart is HERE, in the present moment
Theres been a lot of studies which have shown that the heart has neurons as well

Proving the heart is intelligent in it's own right

And is has a magnetic field 1000x more powerful than the brain

The heart doesn't think, it knows.
'How come we weren't taught about heart intelligence growing up?'

Idk really

Because if we can't control our emotions & mind, then someone else can

With technology, mass brainwashing happens left and right

That's my theory. But this thread isn't about that
This thread is about waking up into a new mode of thinking

You were heart centered before, just not aware of it

Just like you talking to your friend, your attention was in the body

Not the mind

You didn't over think.

You just were...
You won't just naturally break out of the loop of overthinking

Itll require effort from your end

But the effort allows you to break out of an addiction that plagues many
'How do I break the cycle bro?'

I keep it simple.

1. Interrupt
2. Refocus

That's it.
1. Interrupt

Make yourself aware of when you're getting in an endless cycle of thinking

A whole bunch of thinking not going anywhere

1 interruption is a vote for a new destiny

And the votes pile on up
2. Refocus

Bring your attention from your mind to your body

The body & heart are present and in the moment

And you magnify your power when your present

You tap into a new form of intelligence that allows you to feel warm physically
Each time you interrupt & refocus, you weaken neural pathways for over thinking & strengthen neural pathways for presence

Your best memories are from being present

So just imagine if that's your default behavior

Well...it can be
If you enter the internet without a goal, you'll get lost in scrolling, gossiping & shit talking

If you enter the internet with a little bit of intent, you'll gain knowledge, a potential business & connections

Night & day
Time to wake up champ

Thinking for the sake of thinking is a false God

Knowing when to think is where the money is at

Your mind is a loyal servant

Not your master

Remember that
For some people, this thread would have made all the sense in the world

For others, it didn't quite click

All good. The seed has been planted

Bookmark this & revisit it in the future when something doesn't feel right

That's when this thread will answer a lot of questions
In a world where thinking is abundant

Be the person who know how to be present

Presence is power

And that's the power money can't buy
