A month ago, IL held an in-person primary. Today, a poll worker died of coronavirus.

Want to hear a radical idea? Instead of just using the postal system to inform people that they may have been infected with coronavirus while voting in person, let's use it to mail ballots to people so they can vote at home.
Wisconsin has a special election for Congress coming up May 12, and Wisconsin Republicans are currently insisting that it go forward as planned, in person.

If you want the GOP to learn, emphatically, that sending people to vote in person as coronavirus rips through the country is a bad idea, the best way is to make it backfire.

As the NYT reported, Trump's team was obsessed with the idea that COVID-19 had been created by a gov lab, and accidentally unleashed. Echoing the march to war with Iraq, officials pushed WMD experts for backup.
