New year is celebrated by sanatanis in various regions by various names. Vishu,Bihu etc. In parts of southern tamilnadu and in entire kerala, Hindus see auspicious things like rice, vegetables etc fist thing in the morning (1/4)
people have darshan of beautiful deity of Krishna admist the fruits, grains, coins and veggies and flowers of Cassia fistula. after which elders are offered dandavtas by younger members of the family. and finally settle for a veg feast by afternoon. Please note (2/4)
You place Krishna as center of worship and start an year by having his darshan and do you think he would be happy with your beef eating habbits? This is NOT Hindu's culture. Krishna loves cows. spare the cows please!. realize your roots, dont allow abrahmic cult to influence(3/4)
you. and coming to feast. ever heard of having beef as a traditional dish for any Hindu festivals? No. for heavens sake realize that beef is not part of our dharma, leave it . go back to your roots. you dont have to love cows like Krishna., but dont harm the cows! (4/4)

His Highness Padmanabha dasa Swati thirunal departed to eternal abode on early morning of 27 December 1846. The chief priest of the Padmanabha temple opened the main sanctum at about 3 am, unaware of departure of HH. The moment he opened the tightly locked sanctum (1/3)
entry to which is restricted to only chief priest and his assistant, to his astonishment he saw Swati thirunal with hands folded in prayers inside the sanctum near the lotus feet of padmanabha .the assembled gathering were in shock. minutes later they heard bells from palace(2/3)
announcing the departure of HH. HH was a great music composer and a great devotee of Padmanabha. A similar incident was observed during the departure of HH chithira thirunal too. they ruled the kingdom as servants of Padmanabha and were real raja rishis . (3/3)

When HH Nrusimha Bharati Mahaswami of Sringeri math was upon a Vijaya Yatra to Kaladi, the birth place of Adi Shankaracharya, as per protocol, HH moolam Thirunal Ramavarma the then Maharaja of travancore came to receive HH, HH made a request to Maharaja(1/4)
that as there is no temple for Shankaracharya in his birthplace HH requested Maharaja for land in Kalady to construct a temple . Maharaja to the utter shock of the assembled gathering kept mum and left the place in few minutes. When HH returned to Sringeri after yatra, (2/4)
The Maharaja was waiting with a bundle wrapped in silk cloth, it contained the copper Patta which transferred huge proportions of property in kalady to sringeri math.
the Maharaja took time to acquire the properties which were with private individuals. this land is blessed (3/4)

The so called "tiger" of mysore challenged that he would tie his horse in the golden flagpost of Padmanabha perumal temple in thiruvananthapuram.He was defeated and his flag and sword was captured by the travancore forces under the then Maharaja Karthika Thirunal Dharma Raja(1/4)
tippus sword , flag was captured and the sword was returned when tippu begged for it and it was returned upon medtiation by Arcot nawab. a replica of flag is even today carried on elephant back during biannual festival of the same temple where tippu wanted to tie his horse(2/4)
if not for dharma raja,there wont be padmanbha temple today, there wont be any hindus in travancore . there wont be any temples,we owe a lot to the dharma raja. it is a shame to know the great Dharma Raja of Travancore who stood as one of the unshakable pillars of dharma(3/4)
