The @CDCgov recommends the use of cloth face masks in public places where social distancing is difficult. But protective equipment is only as effective as the person wearing it.

Here's the proper way to put on a face mask 😷👇read.medium.com/q8MeEtr
Before you do anything: wash your hands.

Make sure there are no tears in your face covering before you put it on.
If you wear glasses, take them off now.

Decide which side of your mask is the front, and always wear it the same way to avoid cross-contamination.
If your mask has ear loops: bring it to nose level and place the loops around your ears.
If your mask has ties: bring it to nose level and secure the top set of ties into a bow around the crown of your head.

Then secure the bottom set into a bow at the nape of your neck.
If applicable: pinch the moldable nose bridge on your mask around your nose for a more secure fit.
Adjust the bottom of the mask over your mouth and chin so it’s snug, but not painful.

There should be no large gaps between your face and the mask. The straps should lay flat against your skin.
You're all set!

If you wear glasses, you can put them back on now.

Avoid touching the front of the mask; if you do, wash your hands again.
