The real figure in Covid-19 is the infection mortality rate (IMR), as I mentioned earlier. Case fatality rate would be higher, as testing in symptomatic cases only will reduce the denominator. Large population testing in Germany showed IMR to be 0.3%.. 1/n 
Even at 1.3% mortality in Germany where testing included mild cases and 8.7% in UK where testings were done in severe cases, >80% of deaths occurred in persons above 65 years. Add to this, their population >65 years which is between 18% to 20%, ...2/n
..and compare this to India's geriatric population of just over 6%. Taken all these factors, in India, IMR will be 0.09% or even less, which is good for allowing herd immunity with reverse quarantine with least possible population deaths.. 4/n
Humans are part of the same ecosystem, as this virus is. Neither can you wish away this fact, nor can you shut yourselves and live in constant denial. 5/n
