The problem is that people without functioning empathy centers are willing to do anything to get power and are able to use narrative manipulation to obtain it. You can add as many individual details as you like, but around the world this is the primary obstacle to human thriving.
No, the primary obstacle to fighting back is not empathy but narrative manipulation. People don't rise up and use the power of their numbers to create a system that benefits them instead of a few sociopaths because they've been propagandized not to do so.
Who is "we"? Who created that system? Who enforces its perpetuation? It's the same power-seeking sociopaths who use mass media manipulation to propagandize the public into thinking this system works for them. People just fail to see through the propaganda.
Well they would mainly learn it as a natural consequence of their condition. If human connection doesn't interest you, then naturally you don't use language for connecting with and understanding people; you use it to get what you want, i.e. manipulation.
