This thread will help you know what will work best for you even if you have never done any online business before.

I know you've always seen and heard about online businesses.

A lot exist but if you want to last, you need to be sure of what you are choosing to get into.

This is going to be like a mini exam you give yourself.

Let's go.💰💡

𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟏:

a. Go online and write down at least 20 online business you have seen or heard of.

E.g:
Social Media Management, Digital Products, Mini Importation, Forex Trading, Affilate Marketing, WhatsApp classes, Fiverr, Graphic design etc

Write a many as you can.

b. What do you have?
You need to be realistic and very practical.

Do you have a Phone?

Do you have a laptop?

Do you have time?

Do you have steady access to data and internet?

Do you always have light?

Do you have ebooks and other resources?

Do you have money?

If you have money, how much do you have?

If you don't have money, how much can you raise if necessary?

Do you have support?

Are you really serious about this thing? Etc

C. Why?

Why online business and not offline?

Why do you want to earn online and not open shop?

Why don't you want a 9-5 job?

Why do you want to quit your 9-5?

Why will this one be different from others you have started?

Answer these questions on paper. Not in your head.

Write it down o.
Not theory.

Put pen to paper.

See I'm talking like a real Nigerian Aunty so you know this is serious.

Write it down.

𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐

a. What do you like?

I don't mean passion.

I am assuming you just want to make money at this point and you may not even know what you're passionate about.

This is fine

What do you like to do and what can't you stand?

For me, I like to chat and press my phone.

I also like international trade i.e buying and selling.

I'm fascinated by online coaches and I hate forcing and disturbing people.

I like to write.

b. What business models do you like?

For Me, I like buying and selling.

I really don't fancy network marketing and selling health supplements.

c. What have you done before whether free or paid?

For me:
I have handled social media pages for an NGO.

I have sold snacks outside church, I have baked cakes, I preached in my house fellowship, I have taught online classes etc

These help show that I like to sell and teach.

Write down everything you have done and can do without struggling.

This is important because you don't want to go in blindly.

You need to have a certain level of awareness so you don't jump from one business to another.

With knowledge of this, go back to the list and cancel out the businesses that do not align with your answers, resources and current skills.

Choose the top 3 for you.

This takes out a lot of options and reduces confusion.

d. Can these 3 stand the test of time?

How much profit do they guarantee on the minimum?
Is it too small or too big for you?

Are they in demand?

Create a pro and con list for each of them

When I did this, mine became
a. Online classes
b. Social Media Management
c. Mini Importation

Now that you have your top 3, let's do the next part.

Which of the 3 can you start with immediately?

What do you need to start and do you have it?

If all 3 are viable and you can do all, good.

I recommend starting with one.

Who are the people who have succeeded in this business?

Find them and follow them

Do you want to figure this out on your own or do you want to be guided?

If you want to be guided, reach out to those already excelling in that business and buy whatever they are selling as long as it will help you move faster.

If you want to figure it on your own, be prepared to make mistakes and learn from them.

If you don't have enough money, get all their free guides and resources and follow through with it.
