You will be mocked for taking the unconventional path, for going against society. Go against society anyway.
The world might not value the experiences you share. Share anyway.
You will struggle to smile and show up. Show up anyway.
You will find most comfort in your own company but they will tell you come hang out with us and don't be boring. Be with yourself anyway.
Your teams may seem naive, inexperienced and not ready to be trusted. Trust anyway.
Your ego will tell you that you don’t need help. Seek help anyway.
Boys will be told not to cry. Girls not to laugh out aloud. Cry anyway. Laugh anyway.
Your kindness might cause you pain, cause you betrayal, cause you heartburn. Be kind anyway.
The world will impose it's expectations on you. Tell you what your success is. What you failure is. Define it for yourself anyway.
Everyone will tell you, take the obvious decision, walk down the stable path, chase the herd. Resist the obvious anyway.
Listening will seem boring. Will seem you are not helping. Will seem you are not active. Will seem you should talk more. Listen anyway.
The solutions will be exciting. Will bring in the rush. The joy of achieving. You will fall in love with the solutions. Fall in love with the problems anyway.
Asking for something will scare you. Imagining the rejection will paralyze you. "what a stupid question" will intimidate you. Ask anyway.
In the end - everyone out there seems to have an opinion on you. What you should do. What you shouldn't. How you should live your life. And how you have fucked it up already.
