Day 19 of @NavigatorSurvey tracking poll: Trump's overall approval rating is back at pre-crisis levels. He's at 44% approve/54% disapprove in latest tracker which is a low in the the three weeks we've been doing this and where he was in January/February.
The nation's Governors are maintaining soaring approval ratings for their handling of the crisis (70% across all Governors) while Trump moves under water on his coronavirus approval rating.
The last few days have been particularly harsh for Trump. More people are seeing mostly negative things about the President's handling of the crisis than ever before.
Trump says he wants to open the country by May 1st, but we asked who people trust more to decide when social distancing should end?

Landslide 69% trust state/local gov't with that decision vs. 22% for Trump. Majority of Republicans even trust state/local gov't.
There is a big gap between what the public wants from Trump and what they are getting. The public wants Trump to lead a coordinated, national response to the crisis (59% say that), but only 34% say that's what he has been doing.
We also asked a few questions about the economic relief bills and found a few things of note. First, there is massive, cross-partisan support for the bills passed by Congress -- shows how much the American people are looking for and will support government intervention.
Americans uncertain who the bills will help, though more think they'll go to everyone (48%) than just help the wealthy and big corporations (36%). Still there are big partisan gaps on this question and will be one to watch as people learn more about the bills.
Pre-existing perceptions about the parties and Trump go into who the public thinks is helping who in their response to the pandemic. A plurality think Trump is helping wealthy and big corporations, while a plurality think Democrats are helping middle class and working people.
