Well, this is a new one. We've had someone leaving flyers on our front gate saying they're from @socalgas and they couldn't get in to check our meter (we have a gate around our perimeter, of course).
But we've called the number they left & rec'd no answer or call back....

and @socalgas apparently has no way to verify if this person is actually an employee of theirs or not (just got off the phone trying to verify).

Los Angeles is pretty lousy with burglary rings and nefarious people impersonating others to gain access.
